Wedding Shot Glasses for Manly Favors
For the "S" wedding that I planned last year, the bride and groom wanted custom favors at the reception for all the male guest. We found these great straight sided shot glasses and had them etched by a local crafts-person. The bride and I attended the etching session and got to experience the process. My daughter used the same idea and we created a poem to stand up in the shot glass:
Cheers!
Take a shot !
Chris & Hanna tied the knot !
This Thank You Glass is yours to own,
Don' forget to take it home !
So eat, drink, be merry and send them good wishes,,,
Add lots of love & kisses for the new Mr. & Mrs !

Hand Made Garters for a Wedding Football Toss
I have been so busy creating wedding items, I haven't had any time to post!
Here are some accessories that I have been working on.
Some of these can be found in my Etsy store soon!
I was very inspired by sports fan theme event!
It is difficult for a groom to successfully toss a little fabric garter...
so surprise him with a Garter Holder!
Yes... it is a football! He will be thrilled and will enjoy zipping that pigskin to the single guys with the DJ playing the theme to Monday Night Football or his college fight song!
Please take a look and enjoy!

Margarita Party on the 4th!
Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a good time
because we were invited to the Miko's Pool Party. I was
thrilled to be asked to bring the Margaritas! When I found
out that they didn't have any Margarita glasses...I knew
exactly what to take as a house gift! Here is how I hand
painted the glasses. I loved they way that they

turned out and the drinks were Fa-bu too! Cheers!

The Bride and Groom

Last Saturday, March 28, 2008, Mindy and I went to a Wedding Shower for Mindy's High School Best Friend, Emily. It was a delightful event at the Blessings Cottage in Dacula, Ga. On the right, is Emily and her fiance, Matt. On the left, is the shower favor that we brought home. . . Bride and Groom chocolate covered and decorated strawberries! So cute! I just had to put them on my favorite napkin shaped luncheon plate!Party Guest CyndiLou

Altered Shipping Tag
Now that it is the new year, we are already looking forward to Spring Break, Graduation and then summer. The days left at school before this time, just flys by and being ready for parties, banquets and booster events takes quiet a bit of organization. Here is a tie-on favor used for a band end of season dinner that was attached to a rose for senior moms. Be Good to your Volunteers too!Party on ~CyndiLou

Menu Tent Cards
Last week, at work,(Hamilton Mill Publix) I had the opportunity to create these holiday menu cards for the Taste of Mill Creek. Publix had a booth there and served about 16 different entree & side items to ticket holders. I heard it was a grand success!Designer CyndiLou
