At Publix, we have been celebrating Italian Fest with special sales the last 2 weeks. The store manager, Dan, gave me some projects to design, paint and display in the lobby for this occassion. The photos are of my Italian creations; Pointe Vecchio (Merchant Bridge in Florence) and 2 garden areas. The bridge background is made with 2- 8x4 foamcore boards and the buildings & bridge are also cut out of foam board and duct tape roofs. The sculptures in the garden are painted foam board the is cut around the edge. The gardens are accented with wine bottles and loaves of bread.Arrivederci!
