If you live in the southeast, US- then you are probably familiar with Publix Supermarkets. This is the first Holiday season that Publix will be without their famous couple and their adorable TV commerical(which made them famous!). The Pilgram Pair was discontinued last year along with their Pilgrim kids(The Lilgrims) and all of their other table top accessories. I made the Pilgrim Pair Sculpture in the early 2000's for my local Publix store. They are made on an upside down bucket that is built up with recyclables and that coated with Paper mache' called Celluclay. I painted the according to the real salt & pepper shakers and applied a finishing coat. Mr. Pilgrim stands about 24 inches tall and is currently on display with the Mrs. through the Holiday season at the Publix, Hamilton Mill Store # 629 in Dacula, Ga, 770-614-1070.
